Southside Rodders Poker Run

The idea of a Poker Run is that you all set off on a run and along the way at various points you stop to collect a playing card. If you go the right way.....and its pretty easy.... you end up with 5 cards. The person at the end that has the best Poker hand wins! Not a bad idea and quite easy to organise too.

The run kicked off at Te Irirangi over Botany downs way where we had breakfast and a wander around the cars before heading off.







Half way through the run there was stop over at a local beach for a drink and an icecream.



At the end of the run a great BBQ was put on and a prize giving. Apart from being a bit wet underfoot it was fine and was a great chance to have a look around the cars......well that was until the storm blasted through.

After a storm went through it was a great opportunity to grab snaps. The stormy sky made a nice contrast against the white coupe.
